Serving Salem since 1733

Leadership

The Wardens, Vestry & Rector

Our Wardens

The Senior and Junior Wardens

Ana Nuncio, our Senior Warden, and Radhamés Reynoso, our Junior Warden, lead the vestry and serve as the elected leaders of the parish. They work tirelessly on behalf of the congregation to lead and unite the parish and work closely with our rector.

Our Vestry

The Treasurer, Secretary and elected vestry members serve as the vestry

We are indebted to Jim Sweet, our treasurer, Irene Axlerod, our secretary, and Diane Hage, Beverly DiMarzo, Consuelo Hernández, Victoria Kelleher, Esq., Dr. Alexandra Piñeros Shields, and Chila Santana who serve as vestry members.

Our Rector

The Rev. Nathan W. Ives

The Reverend Nathan Ives serves as our bilingual rector at St. Peter’s-San Pedro. He has office hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday by appointment.

A native of Rockport, Massachusetts, he loves lobster, gardening, bird watching, firefighting and sailing. He and his wife, Mary Anne, and daughter, Nora, live in Rockport. Their older daughter Lena and her husband Jeff live on a farm in Maine, and are expecting their first child this fall!

         Our Director of Music

                                                                                        Javier Márquez

The very talented Javier Márquez MM is our director of music. Javier is a dual degree graduate of Salem State University and a wonderful pianist, organist, singer and composer. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Javier lives in Lynn and performs in concerts, churches and orchestras all over the Northeast. On the first Thursday of most months, Javier, himself a polyglot of some nine languages, helps us offer a multilingual Taizé Service that is both musical and contemplative in a style that is simply holy and unique.

BILINGUAL SUNDAY MUSICIANS

Juan and Joseph Báez

Juan Báez and his son, Joseph, are the amazing musicians who lead our bilingual Sunday music offerings at St Peter's-San Pedro on the last Sunday of each month.  Their combined talents unite our two languages in a beautiful and faith-filled offering.
